The hotel had its own private jetty. Water taxi pick-ups were very easy. The location is AMAZING. The staff gave restaurant recommendations and they were spot on.
The room seemed SMALL for the price. The front desk had a cold attitude.

grand canal easy access helpful staff
the hotel stood right on the grand canal. this provided convenient access via water taxi. the staff were cute and helpful throughout our stay. i appreciated the lovely courtyard, where i enjoyed coffee.
the air conditioning did not work very well. the room temperature stayed at 24 degrees.

small room zero hospitality
the location was acceptable, putting me close to the grand canal.
I was annoyed by the room i got. it was unacceptably small considering the price i paid. plus, the front desk staff had zero hospitality. They weren't even smiling. it felt rude.
